We all live for a fairy tale… and we know the truth.
Paramythi is a different kind of children’s entertainment venue, where play meets theatre.
Every Thursday, we open our doors to the public.
Children can enjoy free play in our indoor playground and watch the scheduled theatrical performance of the day.
Every Thursday features a different show, giving children the opportunity to discover new stories and theatrical experiences throughout the year.
Friday – Saturday – Sunday, Paramythi hosts Private Children’s Parties.
On these days, the venue is dedicated to scheduled Private Parties, with organised children’s entertainment, play and the option to choose from Paramythi’s theatrical and interactive shows.
The combination of play, theatre and organised entertainment is what makes Paramythi different and creates a unique experience for children and their guests.

What do we offer every Thursday?
Every Thursday, Paramythi opens its doors to the public from 18:00 to 21:00, offering a unique combination of play and entertainment.
General admission is as follows:
1 child + 1 accompanying adult: €15.00
Each additional child: €10.00
Each additional accompanying adult: €5.00
For the child, admission includes:
Entrance to the indoor playground, an individual juice and bottle of water, a colourful balloon and a paper crown. Face painting and dancing in the disco are also included.
For the accompanying adult, admission includes:
One drink of their choice from the café.
If the number of children attending is more than 10, the scheduled theatrical performance of the day will also take place.
The theatrical performance is included in the above price.
Reservations are not mandatory, but are recommended, as the number of available places is limited.

Our Story…
“Paramythi”
A different approach to children’s entertainment that began in 1999 and continues to evolve to this day.
The story of Paramythi began with the desire to create a place unlike anything that existed for children at the time: a place where play, theatre, imagination and creativity could come together.
On June 1st, 1999, Paramythi opened its doors for the first time. A venue created through a great deal of personal work, dedication and, above all, a genuine love for children.
In 2001, together with our educators and team, we began creating our own original theatrical shows. Performances designed especially for children, which gradually became one of the defining elements of Paramythi’s identity.
And we have never stopped creating since.
Over the years, new stories, characters, sets, techniques, music and different ways for children to participate have continuously been added. At the same time, professional travels and research throughout Europe and the United States introduced us to new ideas and inspiration, which we adapted to our own philosophy.
Our goal has always remained the same: for every child who walks through the doors of Paramythi to enjoy a truly memorable experience.
Throughout this journey, we have created dozens of different theatrical and interactive experiences and hosted thousands of children’s parties, school visits and special events.
27 Years of Paramythi
From 1999 to 2026, more than 350,000 guests have visited Paramythi and over 7,500 events have taken place at our venue.
But behind these numbers are thousands of families who trusted us with one of the most important days in their child’s life.
Children celebrated their birthdays here and returned year after year. Today, after 27 years, some of the children who first experienced Paramythi are now parents themselves — returning with their own children.
Perhaps this is the greatest reward of our journey.
Today, Paramythi continues to evolve, creating new shows and new experiences, while remaining true to the values that have guided us from the very beginning:
personal care, quality and respect for every child and every family.
After 27 years, we still believe that a children’s party can be much more than simply a celebration.
It can become a memory that lasts for years.

Play in Action
Paramythi’s play area has been designed so that children aged 2 to 10 can play, move, explore and have fun in a safe environment.
A trained children’s activity coordinator is always present in the play area, while the number of staff members is adjusted according to the number of children expected, based on the day’s reservations.
Our team does more than simply supervise. They organise group games and activities adapted to the children’s ages, encouraging participation, movement and cooperation.
In this way, play becomes part of an organised entertainment experience, while accompanying adults can enjoy their time at Paramythi more comfortably.

We came from The Hague to celebrate our 5 year old son`s birthday. There is nothing negative I can find about Paramythi. From the first moment the communication was excellent and easy, the facilities were awesome, the same with the food and generally all the service from beginning to end with enthusiasm and a smile. The smile on the face of all the children and the excellent reviews from the guests, was simply the icing on the cake. A+++ experience and of course we will prefer it again in the future.

Professionalism, organization, kindness.. Everyone was thrilled with this playground, young and old! It deserves 10 stars! We came from Korydallos to have our 5-year-old son`s party, and it was fantastic!! I researched for many days until I came to the conclusion, all the indoor playgrounds (due to the weather we had to be inside) seemed the same and boring to me. Mr. Yiannis is kind, friendly and completely organized. The three-hour party is organized perfectly, the children are constantly busy, there is a theatrical performance, a cake-cutting show, dancing at the disco... I have no words, no matter what I say it is not enough to describe what we experienced. The parents who were invited were telling me with enthusiasm what a great time they had, the kids didn`t want to leave.. and my son the next day was saying thank you so much for the party.. I think he will never forget this day! Mr. Yiannis, keep it up, I wish you the best! And I truly believe, as I told you in private, that there is no playground like ``Paramythi`` in all of Athens! I also want to thank the wonderful, sweet girls who work there. And I should note that the catering companies that this playground collaborates with offer very high-quality food. 2nd year we have been hosting our son`s party. This is not a simple playground, but a unique experience! It is 100% worth the few extra euros. I want to thank Mr. Yiannis and his wife again, the wonderful girls who take care of the children, and I hope we will see them again a third time! The Energy show enchanted young and old, the children had fun, danced, played.. it was all fantastic! Thank you for everything!!
